21+ legally. 30+ culturally. Pizza included.

MAY 10 @ Cafe Balearica – We’ll be back at Brighter Days original home, Cafe Balearica in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

  • 44 Berry St, Brooklyn, NY 11249 (Maps)

  • It’s an ~150 person two-story disco on North 11th & Berry w/ a club sound & lighting system in the basement & a vibey, plant-laden upstairs.

DJs: Max August, Atilla Ural, Vosters, & YaGirl Ash along w/ a special guests

Music: Inspo playlist – Brighter Days is all about 80s-00s electronic dance & house. Expect to hear original tracks from Cajmere, Masters At Work, Crystal Waters, Armand Van Helden, & more. Beyond the originals, we encourage our resident DJs to get creative incorporating vintage inspired remixes and beyond.

For events at Cafe Balearica, there’s two floors. Upstairs, we keep it groovy with funky electronica and disco house for the most part, but really whatever gets the people moving.

Dress Code: Vintage club attire or whatever you wanna dance in. Nothing strict, but no athletic clothes or anything super casual.

FAQs

  • Yes, there will be limited capacity at the door if capacity allows.

    If it’s sold out, we recommend coming right at the beginning at 5pm OR later around 7:30 once we know how many tickets holders are no-shows.

  • No, there are no table or large group reservation offerings for this event.

  • Legally it's 21+ to get in, but culturally it's 30+ – basically just Millennials & above. Gen Z we love you, but this is our safe space.

  • Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event.

    After that, you can email us to transfer to another Matinee event up until 4 days before the event or do it yourself by logging into Eventbrite.

    After that, no refunds or transfers.

We’re a community of 30 & 40 somethings that like to go out, go wild, and then go to bed.

We host weekly dance parties all over NYC, typically from 5-10pm.
