For the ravers, burners, & house hedonists that love to party, but also a good night’s sleep, Brighter Days (@brighterdays.nyc) is Matinee’s electronic cousin – featuring early vintage dance, trance & house monthly from 5-10pm.
Rooted in the energy of the 90s & 00s scenes from NYC to Chicago to Ibiza, this is a night where nostalgia meets now.
Matinee is taking over Brooklyn's best venues, featuring award-winning sound systems, to deliver a sound that bridges the classics that once lit up Limelight and Amnesia with the modern tracks carrying that torch forward.
Expect deep cuts and anthems sitting side by side with fresh edits and new music that feels like it could only exist because of what came before it. Non-stop high-energy grooves, retro synths, diva vocals, and that unmistakable four-on-the-floor transcendent feeling — all before your bedtime. Whether you came to two-step, sweat it out, or reconnect with the feeling of losing yourself, this is your house hedonist sanctuary.

WILLIAMSBURGDead Letter No. 9 is one of Brooklyn's most singular nightlife destinations — a transformed former postal facility reimagined as a multi-room cultural venue, cocktail bar, and late-night dance space unlike anything else in the city. The venue features distinct areas including Cargo and The Foyer, which host late-night DJ sets spanning house, disco, and afrobeat.
