Join Matinee Social Club for an elevated evening of old school R&B and hip-hop.

It’s a Matinee, so expect an evening of dancing amongst a crowd of seasoned party people. Also, pizza is included with every ticket to keep you going strong.

Music: A medley of old school R&B [90-00s] – everything from Mariah, Usher & Lauryn Hill to hip-hop from Missy Elliott, Notorious B.I.G. & more. Inspo playlist.

Dress Code: Dress for a night out, but ready to dance.

Time: Fridays 6-10pm. Saturdays 5-10pm.

An impeccably designed vinyl themed listening bar with two rooms – with full club vibe & another for lounging. One of the most spots places in NYC.

2) The Club by Mr. Purple

180 Orchard St 14th floor, New York, NY 10002 (Maps)
For those who haven't been, it's an impeccably designed club on the 14th floor of Hotel Indigo Lower East Side with west-facing skyline windows. Take a video tour here.

FAQs

Yes, there will be limited door access if capacity allows. If it’s sold out, we recommend coming near the beginning or later around 7:30 once we have a better idea of ticket no-shows.
Yes, there are tables available as an add-on on the ticket page. They each require tickets plus a 1-2 bottle minimum (~$350). Email help@matinee.club with questions or for reservations.
Legally it's 21+ to get in, but culturally it's 30+. Gen Z we love you, but this is our safe space.
Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event.
After that, you can transfer to another date up until 4 days before the event by logging into Eventbrite.
After that, no refunds or transfers.
