The “Matinee Disco” at Joyface is the Matinee dance party that started it all. Join us for a multi-generational evening of disco & vintage hits, bubbles, confetti, & pizza in a 70s inspired cocktail lounge.

When: Every Saturday from 5pm - 10pm
Where: Joyface – 104 Loisaida Avenue New York, NY 10009 (East Village)
An intimate 70s inspired cocktail lounge that holds ~100 people & features plush couches, premium cocktails, a waterbed, & a funktion one sound system.
Music: 70s Disco, Funk, Motown, 80s Pop, & 90s Dance. Think artists like Abba, Donna Summer, Madonna, Rick James, Crystal Waters, & Robyn. Inspo playlist.
Dress Code: Disco chic vibes preferred, but really just whatever you want to dance in. Just no gym clothes.
Run of Show
5pm Doors open
6pm Music escalation
7pm Peak like it’s midnight
8pm Pizza is served (free w/ ticket)
10pm Party is over

Yes, at Joyface we almost always allow door access pending capacity.
While it is not guaranteed, as of late pretty much everyone that comes to the door has gotten in.
We recommend coming at the very beginning at 5pm OR later around 7:30pm once ticket holders have arrived.

Yes. There is one reserve-able space at Joyface that holds 10-20 people.
To reserve the space, you must buy the "Table Reservation" tickets for your group on Eventbrite. It also requires an $100 per person bar minimum.
