The “Matinee Disco” is our collaboration with Joyface and the Matinee dance party that started it all. Join us for the unforgettable Joyface experience – a multi-generational evening of disco & vintage hits, bubbles, confetti, & pizza in a 70s inspired cocktail lounge.

When: Every Saturday from 5pm - 10pm

• Select Fridays from 6-10pm

Where: Joyface – 104 Loisaida Avenue New York, NY 10009 (East Village)

• An intimate 70s inspired cocktail lounge that holds ~100 people & features plush couches, premium cocktails, a waterbed, & a funktion one sound system.

Music: 70s Disco, Funk, Motown, 80s Pop, & dash of 90s Dance. Think artists like Abba, Donna Summer, Madonna, Rick James, Crystal Waters, & Robyn. Inspo playlist.

Dress Code: Disco chic vibes preferred, but really whatever you want to dance in. Just no gym clothes.

FAQs

• Group Reservations: There’s only one reserve-able space for groups at Joyface. It requires a $3k minimum (plus tax+tip). Click the link for full details.

• Please note that events at Joyface have a 10-person ticket limit, and groups larger than 10 are not permitted unless a group reservation has been secured in advance.

• Coat Check: Sadly there is no coat check at Joyface. It’s a small venue, so they don’t have space for one.

• Waitlist & door entry policy:This event typically sells out a month in advance. Make sure your entire group buys early as it’s very unlikely that we can release more and door access is limited.
